A Brief Absurdity

small tug of inspiration to express myself. it's so rare. those who know me know i'm a shrinking violet (snort, chuckle, full blown explosive). i'm a mom and a creative genius...okay, so really, just a person who loves funky beauty and tactility and sass. is it too much to ask to just be heard once in a while? this is a place for that..and for you to tell me what you think about it. we'll discuss the benefits of martini's...to dull the noise of a playdate. we'll talk about food and the joy it brings me and the distress we all feel surrounding the guilt about it...which shouldn't be there. we'll talk about kids and pajamas and annoying spouses. we're not unusual in that way...but we'll also talk about art and creativity and our goals and dreams and how to accomplish them while juggling kids (this is a good time, try it), jobs, "real life" and probably many of us financial bugger-ups. some days i just wanna write. some days i just wanna cook or talk or show off some fantastic something i've just made or gotten. :) please come along.
